Rodrigo Pinheiro

Rodrigo Pinheiro is the founder of R. V. Pinheiro Advogados and built his career at a renowned law firm focused on the infrastructure and natural resources sectors. In recent years, he served as a partner in the Tax and Customs areas, advising national and international companies on direct and indirect taxes and customs planning in Brazil, as well as handling complex litigation in the oil and gas, shipbuilding, energy, port support, and aviation sectors, along with the entire supply chain of goods and services in these industries.

Rodrigo is a versatile lawyer with a conciliatory approach and strong communication skills, both with clients and authorities. He actively participates in discussions and in building solutions for his clients. He assisted the rapporteur of the Subcommittee for the Improvement of the Tax Structure of the Natural Gas Sector under the "Gas for Growth" Project, presenting the topic "Tax Challenges in the Importation of Natural Gas and LNG." He also led the landmark case on the constitutionality of the Petroleum and Gas Inspection Fee established by the State of Rio de Janeiro before the State Court.
